Ecostream was created with one simple idea: 100% self-sustaining recreational travel. And with that, Ecostream’s "Grid Buster Trailer" was born. By harnessing solar, wind, and even motion-generated power into the trailer’s heavy duty batteries, Ecostream RV industries offers all the same comforts you would find in any standard RV on the market, without the footprint. The technology at work here can also be applied to virtually anything demanding a substantial amount of power.
Though Americans are trying to move away from these fossil fuels, a large portion of the power we use is still relying on this resource. In the state of California, 50% of their power comes from gas alone.
The deadline of being completely carbon free is only 25 years away. It is time we shake the reliance on nonrenewable energy sources. Not only for ourselves but for the Earth.
to charge an electric vehicle on the market today. And that's with using superchargers only 10% of the time. (Based on the U.S. average of 13.5k mi/yr)
During our prototype testing, we partially powered a six-person household from our trailer. That ended up cutting this family's energy bill in half for an entire summer.
Starting out in Bonsall, California, owner/inventor Bradford Howlett built his vision from the ground up with a trailer shell, some solar panels, and 20 years of RV experience as foundation. The nine solar panels gave the trailer its first charge in March 2022 and Howlett was finally able to realize his dream. From there, the Ecostream team set out to innovate new ways to harness inexhaustible energy sources and show the world in hopes of inspiring change among their diesel-pushing peers. Once we starting getting noticed, suddenly it became more than just guilt-free vacations.
More than just carbonless recreation, this trailer can essentially function as a mobile power station. And with Ecostream’s utility power outlets outside the trailer, you can even charge your electric vehicle WHILE you’re enjoying yourself on vacation. Wanna get off the grid? Are you concerned about preparing for the future? Ecostream has provided you with the answer. It’s where innovation, recreation, and preparation combine.
With the deadline to achieve "net zero emissions" by 2050, Ecostream offers a pathway to that goal. Many companies and government agencies could apply this technology to reduce their footprint, and rapidly. Electric vehicles, trailers, and RV conversions were great initial steps, but these ideas are still leaving a footprint. The amount of grid-tied energy consumed to charge a standard electric car creates more emissions than burning up the gas tank on your typical commuter car.
One of the biggest concerns facing the Earth is how we are going to preserve it. More and more people are ditching fossil fuels and integrating different renewable energy sources to power their everyday lives, so it's time for something monumental. Ecostream's fast charging station can create a truly emissions free life; leaving absolutely no footprint. The charging station even has plug-ins to tie your home's breaker; giving you the ability to use 100% renewable energy for your everyday life.
Throughout our testing process over several months, one of our trials involved plugging a family of seven's home into our trailer to see if it made any impact on their power bill. to the right you will find some graphs showing the difference ecostream made for just one day.
These graphs indicate by kilowatt, how much power is being supplied by SDGE, the utility company for their county. We left it plugged in for the remainder of that summer. They reported their power bill was nearly cut in half, while the trailer's power system remained strong and reliable throughout the experiment.
